  • Sleek design
  • Robust Performance
Cons
  • Not ideal for heavy games

The Lenovo Tab 4 is on top of the list for all the obvious reasons. A Full HD display, Smooth performance, and 20-hour long battery life, all add to make this tablet a complete deal.

Performance

With a 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon processor, the Lenovo Tab 4 Plus is very robust when challenged with games or productivity applications. The tablet runs smoothly without any hindrance when tested with PUBG. Also, the 4GB RAM in a tablet at such a price is quite unusual, in a good way, though.

The Lenovo Tab 4 Plus has a storage of 64 GB, which to be honest is a lot for a tablet. You can store seasons of your favourite tv show or as many songs as you like with 64 GB. Moreover, you can expand it as well through an SSD card. \

Portability

The design of this laptop is very sleek, i.e., 8.5 mm and the weight as well is bearable 0.68 pounds. If you are an extensive gamer, you will get away with this tablet for long hours without straining your hands and arms.

When it comes to battery life, the Lenovo Tab 4 is a beast. It claims to last 20 hours, and it actually did. You can safely take it to your busy office or school day, without worrying about the battery being dead in a few hours.

Display and Design

With a big 10-inch screen, the Lenovo Tab 4 Plus has a Full HD display. The maximum resolution of the screen is 1290 x 1200 that makes the colors look sharper and more accurate. Watching movies and shows is an eye treat on this tablet.

This tablet comes with a smooth black finish, that looks elegant when carried around. At the edge of the tablet, you’ll be able to find “Lenovo” written in the centre, that doesn’t give any cheap vibe at all. For a budget tablet, the design is pretty smart and attractive.

Other Considerations

It comes with a unique multi-account feature, that means this tablet allows you to create different accounts on your tablet. Now, each family member gets their own account on the tablet, so that data remains secure.

Also, this tablet is the ultimate kids’ gadget because the dedicated kid’s account is very secure and allows access to only whitelisted websites.

Bottom Line

It is one of the best tablets in the whole Lenovo tablet lineup, and the reasons are its powerful specifications. The 4GB RAM, snappy processor and Full HD screen are just some of these.

Cons
  • The display is not impressive
  • Bulky design

With a snappy processor, the Lenovo Smart Tab P10 is yet another fairly priced tablet in the lineup. If your tasks roam around day-to-day productivity, this tablet will get you through it.

Performance

Apart from the little lag while recording on camera, the Lenovo Smart Tab P10 worked smoothly, all thanks to its snappy 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Switching between apps, going back to the home screen, and pinch-zooming was smooth as butter, even with the 3GB RAM (surprise!). Also, this tablet was able to carry out some heavy tasks, such as running graphics demanding games.

The Lenovo ships this tablet with 32 GB builtin storage that should be sufficient for carrying out day-to-day tasks such as checking emails and watching videos. However, if it’s not enough in your case, you can expand it to 256 GB micro-SD with pairing an SSD card.

Portability

Talking about the portability, this tablet is 9.19 inches tall, 11.16 inches wide in the landscape mode, and the thickness is about 1.96 inches. It doesn’t fit in the slim and sleek category, but you can get away with it. It weighs 2.10 pounds, which makes it comfortable to hold and fit in a bag.

The Lenovo Smart Tab P10 has a two-cell lithium-ion battery. It lasts around 15 hours with media playback on the loop. Also, with a whole day of playing games and surfing the internet, the battery dropped to only two thirds, which is not bad at all.

Display

The 10.1-inch screen with 1920×1200 pixels resolution might sound impressive; however, it is not the case with this tablet. The Lenovo IdeaTab has very limited viewing angles, and the colors weren’t that vivid as well. But, the benefit of the doubt goes to the text that looked surprisingly sharp.

Other Considerations

The Lenovo Smart Tab P10 has a plastic finish along with tapered edges and rounded corners. And, once you start using it frequently, you’ll realize it’s more on the bulkier side. Moreover, if you have butterfingers, the smooth back and bulkiness make it slip away from your hands.

On the right side of the tablet, you’ll find Micro-HDMI port and Micro-USB port for charging, while the left side holds volume buttons, 3.5 mm audio jack, and an orientation lock toggle switch. The power button is on the top of the tablet.

Bottom Line

It is safe to conclude that the price you are paying for this tablet is solely for the CPU that it comes with. The other features are just below average, but you can get away with it if your usage is not extensive.

Pros
  • Long Battery Life
  • Very budget-friendly
  • Good performance
Cons
  • Camera quality is below average

Lenovo Tab 4 is a fairly priced tablet with solid battery life. So, if you are thinking of a road trip and want to watch your favorite TV show episodes or play Candy Crush meanwhile, this tablet won’t disappoint you!

Performance

The Lenovo Tab 4 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 1.4Ghz processor, which is kind of usual in similar price ranged options. You can expect a good overall system performance with this processor. And, the 2 GB of RAM on top of it, makes it easier to switch between apps, multitask, and open apps quickly. However, still, the specifications aren’t enough to run heavy-duty games.

Moreover, you get 16GB of storage with this tablet, which is quite handy for day-to-day tasks. But, if you want more storage, you can slide in up to 256GB SSD card in the slot. Overall, it’s a good tablet performance-wise, but if you push it too hard, you might notice some lag.

Portability

The Lenovo Tab 4 makes a good companion when travelling as its battery lasts for a good amount of time, i.e., 6 hours 45 minutes with video streaming at full brightness. Also, it weighs around 1 pound, which makes it easier to hold it for longer gaming sessions without straining your hands.

Display

With an 8 inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, the images and color look sharper and crisper, what else do you expect from a media tablet? The viewing angles are also great. However, the brightness is fairly good but not enough to make it capable of using under direct sunlight.

Design

Like almost all other budget tablets, the Lenovo Tab 4 has a plastic body with sides having and a look and feel of faux-metal. The sides are smooth, and the back soft-touch finishes for a firm grip. Lenovo doesn’t claim it to be waterproof, so if you are planning to hand it over to your kids, it is better to get a good-quality case beforehand.

Other Considerations

The sides accommodate the usual buttons and port. This includes clicky volume buttons and a power button on the right, while on the top you’ll be having a 3.5 mm audio jack and micro USB charging port. The SSD card slot is on the left side, and the speakers are placed on the top and bottom edges.

Bottom Line

It is a solid tablet if your requirements revolve around Google Play Store, easy on the pocket, long battery life, and day-to-day tasks. The Lenovo Tab 4 will be your travel buddy media consumption on your long trips.

Pros
  • Unique and practical design

  • Longer battery life
Cons
  • Not suitable for heavy-duty games

With quite a unique design, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus is a full powerpack from great performance to sturdy built and longer battery life. This tablet has got it all, and that too at an affordable price.

Performance

With the Qualcomm Snapdragon 654 processor, Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus works smooth as butter when it comes to web surfing and playing light-to-medium duty games. However, a little slowing down was noticed when downloading was carried out in the back.

Also, the heavy-duty games took longer to launch, but after the launch, they ran smoothly too, thanks to the 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of built-in storage that should be more than enough to store a few episodes and games for on-the-go purposes. But, if you are a sucker for more storage, there is an expansion slot that can handle up to 256 GB of SSD card.

Portability

Lenovo’s claims of an 18 hours battery for the Yoga Tab 3 Plus are right on the point. Take it on the bus with you or use it as taking notes in school, you won’t experience a battery problem with this one. Moreover, the fast charger is an extra feature at such a price.

Display

As it is the media tablet, the Tab 3 Plus holds the ground quite well with the 10.1 inch Quad HD panel with 1560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The display looks great overall, with good brightness and comfortable viewing angles.

The graphics are great for a tablet, that means if you are looking for a tablet solely for gaming, this might not be the one for you. This tab can cope up with the basic games, but when it comes to high-end gaming, the frame rates aren’t sufficient to handle that.

Other Considerations

If you are aware of the Lenovo’s Yoga Tab lineup, this design will be no surprise. However, if you haven’t seen it before, the design is quite unique. It comes with a built-in stand, that can be quite handy if you use your tablet in a landscape mode. Also, the stand, when closed, serves as a cylindrical base to hold it as a book for reading purposes.

Bottom Line

Giving the standard iPad a tough competition, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus has a bigger screen, competitive battery life, and a hands-free design. Also, the sturdy built makes this tablet your companion in rough and tough times.

  • Bright display
  • Fair performance
  • Sleek and comfortable design

Cons
  • Old Operating System
  • Glare on screen

With an FHD screen, the Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus is a true media tablet that doesn’t budge even when playing medium-duty games. Also, the less weight and good battery make it more practical to carry in on-the-go.

Performance

As much as the exterior of the tablet is appealing, so are the underlying hardware specifications. It features 2.0-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8953 processor along with 2 GB RAM and Qualcomm Adreno 506 graphics card, which makes PUBG run as smooth as butter.

Portability

At this price, the average battery life noted is 9-10 hours, but the Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus beats that limit. This tablet lasted for 13 hours with the web surfing at fair brightness, which is quite impressive. And with the 9.7 x 6.8 x 0.28 inches dimensions and 0.63 pounds weight, this tablet is fairly easy to carry.

Display

The Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus features a Full HD screen of 10.1 inches with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. The screen is pretty bright and colorful, but there is a piece of small bad news, a little glare was noticed. Also, the wide range of colors and depth is an add-on, that makes the images look more closer to life.

Design

This tablet has a plastic chassis for an easy grip along with silver curves at the edges of the sides that gives this laptop a premium touch. It is a very basic yet elegant and comfortable design.

Other Considerations

The button layout is as follows, on the left side, there is a volume rocker as well as a comfortable power button. And, the right side accommodates a power USB type C port, headphone jack, Micro SD card slot, Sim Slot as well as a microphone. It features the Android 7.1 Nougat Operating System, which is quite old. And, it might not be able to run the latest applications.

Bottom Line

Lenovo Tab 4 10″ Plus features everything that you ask for in a tablet, a bright display, long battery life, and a chic design. An updated software would have been a cherry on top as we have gone far away with games now and Nougat doesn’t do any justice to that.

Pros

Cons
  • 7-hour battery life is average
  • Cannot handle medium to heavy-duty applications

A very inexpensive Android tablet that comes with a unique feature of having multiple accounts on it, the Lenovo Tab 10 is still one of the best sellers when it comes to budget buying. Also, not to forget the decent performance and portability are on the table as well.

Performance

If we dig deep in the internal hardware, the Lenovo Tab 10 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Even though the chipset is quite basic, it is good enough for the price tag it comes with. You can surf social media or play angry birds easily, don’t worry.

You get the 2GB RAM with this tablet, which means you can expect a little multitasking. However, a little slowness is experienced when switching between apps or going back to the home screen, which is usual with a budget laptop. And, about the storage, it comes with 16GB but it is expandable.

Portability

This Lenovo product claims a 7-hour battery life, which is very accurate. The Lenovo Tab 10 lasts for around 7 hours with an HD video streaming at the loop on medium brightness. To be honest, 7 hours is quite usual and enough at such a price.

Display

Lenovo ships this tablet with 10.1 inches screen and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is an HD screen, which makes the text look sharp (certainly not the best but usable). As it is an IPS panel, you get wider viewing angles. Also, the brightness and colors are good too, at least better than the predecessor Tab 7.

Other Considerations

The body is made of all plastic, I know your first thoughts would be “cheap and flimsy”, but it’s not. Even though it is plastic, the build is amazing. It doesn’t bend or show any flimsiness when it comes to the exterior.

The left side of the tablet holds a power button, volume rocker, and a micro USB port. The top of the tablet is occupied by the speakers. And on the right side, there is a 3.5mm audio jack.

Bottom Line

For a budget tablet, Lenovo Tab 10 has got enough on the plate. The decent display and performance, along with the solid built quality, make it ideal for your kids playing games or streaming. And, the price makes it a good deal overall.

Specs Recap

Pros

  • Decent Battery Life
Cons
  • Heavier to carry

If you are torn between whether to buy a laptop or a tablet, Lenovo Miix 2 will provide you with a 2-in-1 option, and that too with amazing specifications.

Performance

With Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, the processor is robust enough to get you through daily tasks as well as some challenging ones. As a tablet, the performance outclasses. But as a laptop, the results are lukewarm, that is quite an obvious factor for all convertible laptops.

It comes with 4GB RAM, which makes multitasking easier. And, the 128 GB storage gives extra points to the Lenovo Miix 2. Now, multitask, game or listen to music, all is possible.

Portability

The dimensions for this laptop are as follows 6.8 by 10.3 by 0.4 inches (HWD), that is considered fine. However, weight is an issue. If we talk about the tablet on its own, it is on a lighter side, but the keyboard adds into the extra weight. The added weight can be problematic when you are on the go.

The battery of Lenovo Miix 2 lasted for about 7 hours 45 mins, that is more than the claims, i.e., 7 hours. It was tested on media playback with medium brightness. The battery is fairly decent for a laptop as well as a tablet.

Display

The display is the show stopper for this tablet plus laptop. This tablet offers 11.6 inch IPS display, which is excellent for wider viewing angles, sharp colors and no color shifting. To top that up, the screen comes with 1920 x 1080 resolution, which you don’t often find in a tablet of such quality.

Other Considerations

The tablet itself has a mini HDMI Port, USB 2.0 Port, a power jack, and a Micro SD Card Slot. And it also has two JBL speakers to give your movies more oomph. This laptop-into-tablet comes with Windows 8.1 along with some extra perks such as trial versions of McAfee Internet Security and Microsoft Office 365.

Bottom Line

If we talk about Lenovo Miix 2 as a tablet, you can’t ask for better specifications. But, like a laptop, it is a so-so deal even at the given price.

Pros

Cons
  • Low resolution
  • Better Lenovo models are there

Being a quite old model, the Lenovo Tab 2 is still being sold and bought mainly because of the affordability and the features it offers. The long-lasting battery and decent performance never let this tablet get old.

Performance

To power the tablet, it has a Quad-Core MediaTek 1.3 GHz Processor paired with 1 GB RAM. The Lenovo Tab 2 works fine with small applications and some multitasking here and there. However, this tablet is not capable of handling something more demanding.

Moreover, it has built-in 16 GB which, to be honest, is enough for small applications and some movies and songs for “on the go” purposes. But, if you want more space, you can always throw in a memory card in the expansion slot.

Portability

The tablet is thin, but the weight is quite a lot. Being only a 7-inch display tablet, 1.05 pounds is more on a heavy side. But, not to forget, it is an old model when “thin and light” wasn’t that much of a trend.

With a 3450 mAh battery, the Lenovo Tab 2 lasts almost 12 hours. That means this laptop will get you through all day without making you charge it again. It can be a good companion for long flights or road trips.

Display

Even though the dimensions of the tablet are 4.1 x 7.5 inches, Lenovo still managed to throw in a 7-inch screen in it, very impressive. But the screen is serviceable, and offers a 600 x 1024 resolution.

The images and colors are nice but not up to the mark. A piece of good news is that the IPS LCD has a capacitive technology that means it can detect multiple fingers at a time.

Other Considerations

Since the tablet is an old model, you can’t expect a newer operating system. Lenovo ships this tablet with Android 4.4 Kitkat. Yes! We know this software is now considered outdated, but what else would you want from a budget tablet.

Bottom Line

To be honest, Lenovo Tab 2 is a talk of history now with so many new options from Lenovo now. However, if you are on a tight budget, you can’t ask better than this.

Pros

Cons
  • It is quite bulky
  • Performance is not to up to the mark

With the simple design and a powerpack battery, Lenovo Tab 4 makes a well affordable tablet out in the market. But, does it fulfil in terms of performance?

Performance

The budget tablets aren’t built keeping games in mind. And there is not much you can do with this one as well. The Lenovo tab 4 will do the small productivity snaps just in a snap, but if you are expecting a little more from the 1.4GHz processor, look somewhere else. And, with the 2GB RAM, there is some lag experienced in switching apps.

Portability

Even at first sight, the tablet will give you a chunky feel. With the 0.3 inches thickness and 0.6 pounds weight, it is safe to say that Lenovo tab 4 is not the best one out there in terms of slimness and weight.

The Lenovo Tab 4 has a 4850mAh battery that claims to last around 20 hours (yes, that’s a lot!). With the mixed usage of web surfing, video and song playback at medium brightness, the claims hold true in real life as well.

Display

With a 10 inch display, the Lenovo Tab 4 offers 1280 x 800 resolution, which is considered to be HD. Moreover, the IPS panel has more to offer such as better color range and wide viewing angles. The brightness was fair enough to make this tablet usable even in the direct sunlight.

Other Considerations

Unlike the slippery cheap tablets, the Lenovo 4 tablet has a textured plastic back, making it easier to grip it. The left side of the tablet has a micro SD slot while on the opposite side, the power button and volume buttons are located. A speaker, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and micro USB charging port are at the top of the laptop.

Bottom Line

Even though it is a budget tablet, there are more limitations than good parts. If you just want a tablet for media purposes, go for it! But, anything more than that will make this tablet lag.

The Lenovo Flex 14 is built with portability in mind (obviously the 2-in1 feature). But, will the performance specifications be sufficient enough to be counted in 10 best Lenovo tablets as well? Hint: It won’t disappoint!

Performance

The Lenovo Flex 14 has AMD Ryzen R5-3500U processor clocked at 2.1 GHz along with 12 GB RAM and 256GB Storage. These specifications are enough for daily productive tasks and a little bit of video editing here and there. For office work, where the laptop is used as a tool for note-taking and editing a few spreadsheets, this can serve well.

Let’s break it; the Flex 14 is not a worthy candidate when it comes to graphics. It features an AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics card, that is not even sufficient for casual gaming. If you want to play games in your lunch break, consider some other option.

Portability

When you hold this tablet-in-laptop, the first thing that comes to mind is how lightweight it is a full-fledged laptop. Well, that is handy when it comes to carrying this in your bag; it will easily fit and won’t strain your back.

This laptop-come-tablet has a non-removable battery that lasts around 9 hours (close to the 10-hour claim). For a 2-in-1 laptop, it is quite good, as portability is the first thing you opted for. This battery life will be enough for a school day or long office hours.

Display

The Lenovo Flex 14 has a 14-inch Full HD Screen that looks sharp and bright on its own. However, when placed against other laptops, it loses all the glitter and shine. The brightness level is 224 nits, which is lower than standard 250 nits but not to worry it is practical in an office setting.

Design

The chassis of this laptop is made out of plastic, which gives an underwhelming first impression. However, the 300-degree hinge makes up for the under satisfactory design. This hinge allows you to use this laptop in tablet mode, clamshell mode, and a tent mode.

Other Considerations

On the left side of the laptop, you’ll see a USB C port, HDMI port, audio jack, and a power adapter. Whereas on the right side, you can find a power button, 2 USB 3.1 port, and a NOVO button along with a card reader.

Bottom Line

Apart from the low graphics card, the Lenovo Flex 14 is a lightweight and affordable option. For someone who travels quite a lot and needs a laptop plus tablet for web browsing and email checking along with some other medium usage tasks, this laptop would be one of the best among the Lenovo lineup.
