The Wacom Intuos 3D pen and touch tablet comprise sensing features that overshadow the typical stylus and pad system. The device is capable of detecting the pen’s direction, pressure, and the speed required to portray the brush strokes you make accurately. Using only mild gestures, you can digitally sculpt and paint your 3D models.

The battery-less pen of the tablet enables you to go beyond the X and Y-axis. The pen has a grasp of pressure and distance from the tablet. It thus leads to the usage of the third axis for your 3D models. The combination of 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity in the pen and the zbrushcore software makes sculpting easy.

The vast range of functions and tools makes you proficient within hours. The intuitive system allows you greater control over your digital craft. For someone obsessed with trackpads, Intuos doubles down as a remarkable trackpad as well.

The Intuos 3D measures 10.8 x 6.7 x 0.4 inches. It weighs 1.1 lbs, which makes the tablet small enough to carry to your workplaces and big enough to unleash your creativity using it. The highly mobile tablet, therefore, can travel with you from home to office or anywhere you intend to attach it to a host computer.

Setting up of the tablet depends on your level of experience. The newbies would face a few hiccups, but it is not difficult or incomprehensible. You have a CD with all the drivers on it that you need to install, following which it will prompt you to connect the drawing monitor using a USB port. Using the software configuration in the control panel, you can adjust the different variants.

The display has limitations due to the coverage of the sensing pad. The rough texture of the tablet can wear out the nibs of the pen, though. It has a sleek body with a suppressed black matte design. You can purchase a wireless adapter, or you can opt for physically connecting the device to your computer.

Those using a cord will be relieved knowing that the wire won’t hinder your drawing since it can be tucked away securely behind the tablet. The sensing area equals that to a sheet of paper measuring 8.5 x 5.3 inches. The round edges of the tablet do not risk cutting off your circulation or any other danger.

Other Considerations

The Intuos 3D has all the features that a normal Intuos has, making the tablet compatible with the range of Adobe products. The tablet comprises the stunning ZBrushCore software that teaches the 3D principles to the freshies.

The Microsoft Surface Go is everything you need – it has all the exciting features of the Surface Pro 6 in a much smaller and more economical package. And how can we forget, its “Go” moniker is indeed right. It runs on Windows 10 home with a decent battery back and no strange app compatibility issues.

The biggest question about the Surface Go is how it would perform as a Windows 10 machine as it swaps the usual Core i-series Intel CPUs for a downgraded Pentium processor, but the results were shocking. It seems that the Surface Go has a lot of power under its hood.

It comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor coupled with 4 GB ram, and for its hard disk, it has the latest 128 GB Flash Memory Solid State. These specs allow the Surface GO to do almost everything that you would like on your regular laptop like web-surfing, media playback, and using various online tools and services.

The best thing about Surface Go is its superior portability. It’s not just the perfect size, weight, and shape we’re talking about – an excellent kickstand, high-quality keyboard cover, and excellent stylus support are all here, just in a miniaturized form. It also has the latest USB-C port.

You can plug it to the power source through its USB-C power source or with the included magnetic Surface-style power connector.

Microsoft has undoubtedly up its display game on the Surface Go. At 1,800 x 1,200 pixels – although not the sharpest and clearest 10-inch tablet display by a long shot. Still, though, the Microsoft Surface Go’s display is attractive in everyday use.

The display is hugely color precise, and photos and movies look amazing on it. Of course, the 3:2 aspect ratio is ideal for web browsing and work, but it gives full-screen 16:9 videos some wasted space with those unwanted black bars.

Other Consideration

The Surface Go comes with both an 8-MP rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, and shocking, the front camera is suitable for taking selfies, which is a luxury we don’t find in many tablets. We tried taking pictures in dim lights and were much impressed with the results.

Bottom line

The Surface Go is a budget tablet that you can use for your everyday task. The tablet has all the vital features of a decent laptop in a much smaller size and shape. The graphics and screen resolution are great for watching movies while the Pentium processor, along with 128 SSD hark disk is capable of handling all those enormous chunks of data.
