  • Battery life is pretty decent
  • Not great for sketching
  • Only two capacity options 32GB and 128GB

Being Apple’s new lowest-priced Tablet in the entire lineup, Apple iPad 10.2 inch is a game up in features and very similar to the pricy sibling iPad Air. Though it’s a bit thicker, still it feels luxurious with the solid build quality.

The body of this iPad is 100% recyclable aluminium shell while the screen is topped with glass in front along with Apple’s traditional home button. The design looks sleek with smart cuts, nothing cheap even with such price.

The screen is bigger, i.e., 10.2 inches than its predecessor, which makes it perfect for multitasking as you can split view in iPadOS now. Also, you can choose from Apple’s infamous colour options: Gold, Silver and Space Grey.

Being on a budget shouldn’t hold you back to watch Netflix and play games with an extraordinary experience, and this iPad is here to fulfil that with very bright and sharp colours.

Talking about the performance, Apple has not changed the chipset for the iPad; it’s the same as the previous one, i.e., A10 chip. This chip is more than enough to handle extensive applications, even the 3D games. Also, it comes in two storage options 32GB and 128GB; Apple could have done better here.

iPad 10.2 inch has a better upgraded 3GB RAM, enough for opening a few applications together. And the 8MP rear camera is quite fair too for a tablet.

Apple has never disappointed when it comes to battery. This iPad has a good 10-hour battery life with video playback and internet browsing.

Well, to be honest, this Tablet has to be one of the best at a given price. And, it would be our number one recommendation as well.

With a metal body, low price, and full HD screen, is Samsung Galaxy Tab A really as promising as it sounds? Let’s have a look.

Unlike the previous Galaxy Tabs, Tab A has a full metal body that makes it look more on a higher-end side. However, there still exists a plastic bar with antennas. This Tablet might look a bit thicker (7.5mm), but it is still on the lighter side. It comes in three colours: black, gold and silver.

The display of Tab A is 10.1 inch LCD with Full HD resolution 1920×1200 pixels, and for a 10-inch screen, it’s enough. The text and pictures are fairly sharp. It is safe to say that this tab is usable outdoors, thanks to the brightness.

But, the bad news is, there is no mention of S pen compatibility with this Tablet, so not a good option if you are used to doodling and drawing.

At such a price, Samsung has managed to get reasonably good internal hardware. The processor is Exynos 7904 octa-core with 2GB RAM and base unit memory of 32GB (also 64GB and 128GB storage options available).

Specs Recap

  • Editor’s Score: 9.5/10
  • Processor: 1.6 GHz Exynos
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Storage: 16 GB
  • Display: 10.1 inch

  • Graphics: 787 Octa-Core
  • Weight: 1.16lbs
  • Battery life : 8 hours (operating), 13 hours (idle)

  • The Tablet is thinner and lighter
  • Battery life is quite enough
  • Fingerprint scanner

  • Quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S1
  • The screen is quite boxy with 4:3 aspect ratio

As it is clear from the name, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is an upgrade from an older version. However, there are more “S” upgrades available now Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Tab S4, still going for an older version means a cheaper option!

Despite being a little older model, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 still looks like a pretty gadget in hands. Weighing around 389g for the 9.7-inch version and 265g for the 8 inch Tablet makes it pretty light to clutch it with only one hand. The weight has cut down probably because the body is made of plastic rather than aluminium shell as in predecessors.

With octa-core Exynos 5433 chipset, this Tablet is ready to cater multitasking at a medium level. Also, the basic unit has an internal memory of 32GB, while the MicroSD card can extend to 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has a fingerprint sensing home button, that is a game up. This Tablet has gotten a little outdated since there are other options available; however, if you have eyes on this for a long time, the price is a steal!

  • The display is great for the price
  • An okay-ish device as a standalone tablet
  • The screen is LCD

One interesting feature that makes Lenovo Smart Tab P10 outstanding is its capability to turn into Echo Show clone connected with a Bluetooth speaker. Now, you can connect with Amazon Alexa and go hands-free!

That being said, it comes with multiple storage and RAM options to select from (obviously the price will range): 2GBRAM/16GBStorage, 3GBRAM/32GBStorage and 4GBRAM/64GBStorage giving you enough room to choose from.

The vivid and bright screen is what makes this Tablet a little more interesting. The full HD 1900 x 1200 10.1 inch IPS LCD displays popping videos and sharp images.

Being a tablet, the speakers outclass many competitors in the audio department. It sounds pretty promising without the dock; however, when the dock is connected, it turns into two three-watt full-range speakers.

It is an average standalone tablet to pass, however, if you are ready to spend on the dock as well, that is what makes it a good purchase. And that too, with an amazing price, you should think twice.

Carrying a laptop everywhere can be a struggle as well as extra weight on your back. Solving this problem, Fusion 5 has come up with a tablet that can do “almost” everything that a laptop can do.

The body of the tablet is all aluminium, yet still lightweight (1.5 lbs) and slim. It can be your travel buddy without making your back or arms hurt. The design itself is also very smart and eye-catching, that is lovable by everyone.

This compact device holds the capability of entertaining rigorous live games, all thanks to the

1.92GHz Intel Quad-core processor. Also, the storage provided at such price is a surprise, 4GB RAM with the hard disk options of 64GB and 128GB.

The battery life of the Fusion 5 FWin232PRO tablet isn’t something that I am a fan of. It only lasts 5 hours, which is pretty low as compared to other competitors. You might have to carry a power bank for that matter.

Well, it isn’t the best tablet in our list, but for a budget laptop, the above specifications are far enough!

Chuwi Hi 10 X is a 2-in-1 tablet, an eye candy for those who love sleek unibody design. This tablet is ideal for people who are not looking into extensive hardware specifications rather want it for day-to-day use, such as keeping up with emails and office tasks.

The display is on point too, that too at such a price. It is 10.1 inches IPS screen with Full HD 1900 x 1200 resolution, making it a good candidate to watch movies on the go. Also, the display supports Chuwi Hi Pen 3.

The most amazing feature about this tablet is it’s RAM. It features 6GB of RAM, enough for multitasking, and 128GB of storage. There is a microSD card option available as well; you can also add some storage if you want.

Chuwi Hi 10 X comes with 2.4 GHz POWER5 Processor and 9th Gen UHD Graphics 600 processor, that means high-speed surfing and smooth user experience.

Please note that the detachable keyboard and the stylus pen are sold separately.

After an unsuccessful and uninteresting Mini 3 iPad, Apple has put some sense into creating their new miniature tablet Apple iPad Mini 4. Unlike Mini 3, this iPad Mini 4 is a step ahead for Apple and here is why.

As all Apple devices, iPad mini 4’s design is not a surprise. It is the same premium looking design with curved edges. The body feels ceramic-like; still, it seems strong enough to take on a rough time in a bag for sure. It is less thick and therefore, lighter in weight as well, i.e., 299g.

Being a mini version of iPad Air 2, the iPad mini4 has inherited quite a few features from it, the display being one of them. The 2048 x 1536 pixel count makes the display sharper and clearer. Also, the bright image makes it easier to use it anywhere.

Talking about the performance, things can get a little worse here. Apple decided to put an A8 chip in this iPad, the chipset used to power iPhone 6 and 6 plus. Though in phones, it is integrated with 1GB RAM and in this tablet the RAM is 2GB.

Still, if you are on a look for a robust tablet, this iPad might only be suitable for day-to-day use. So, look for some other option with a better processor.
